Fees

The base fee payable is $442, however your quotation may be higher, depending on:

• Council area - Council charges vary significantly for mandatory services.
• The type of project (Domestic – extensions, shed, dwelling, swimming pool or Commercial – warehouse, factory, extension or new, tenancy fit out).
• Floor area of proposal.
• Number of inspections required.
• Amount of property information submitted with the application.
• Who the plans are drawn by. If they are not drawn by a member of the Building Designers Association, or other person with building design qualifications an additional fee may be applicable.
• Extent of assistance you request in organizing your proposal. Co-ordination and submission of Relaxation and other applications will attract additional fees.
• The design. Where the project is not fully designed by a Registered Practicing Structural Engineer, additional fees apply.
