Fast Track Building Applications

A fast track (within 72hrs) assessment service is available for domestic applications, provided relevant property information is submitted with the application and a copy of any necessary “pre” approvals by Council, or any other authority is attached to the submission. No extra fee is payable for fast track applications. If this is not the service you require, please refer to Other applications.

Relevant property information includes a sewer plan, property title information such as a Registered Plan, flooding information, a printout of the online property details (available on the Council’s websites) and ownership details. Refer to How do I obtain relevant property information.

If you are unsure which, if any, Council “pre-approvals” might be required, you may refer to Council requirements. The most common types of “pre-approvals” are plumbing approvals, relaxations, and planning approvals.
